Carrington West is looking to grow its frameworks team by hiring a Payroll and Billing Administrator.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a “people first” business to help build and grow the frameworks team.
This primary responsibility of the role is to enter timesheets and using this data, process and pay our contractors, bill our clients, and deal with queries arising from these.
As an payroll and billing administrator, your responsibilities will include the following:
· As a team enter 600+ timesheets on to a Pay and Bill system weekly.
· Query rates with internal employees.
· Review timesheets processed for errors/omissions.
· Use the system to generate sales invoices.
· Resolve queries raised by contractors, clients and internal employees in relation to timesheets,
payments and invoices.
· Ensure all allocated overdue balances are monitored and chased, by telephone and/or email, in a
timely manner to enable swift collection of the debt.
· Timely and accurate posting of customer receipts using remittance advices or other
confirmation.
· Report on all overdue invoices along with an update on the reason, action taken and the
proposed resolution.
· To seek assistance from Consultants, Managers & Directors, where appropriate, in the collection
of debt.
· Other general admin duties as requested by the Finance Director.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 5 or more GCSEs, including English and Maths, at Grade C/Level 4 or above.
- 2 or more A Levels (or equivalent).
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- An excellent work ethic and attention to detail.
- Experience in data entry.
