Senior Operations Manager - Highways Sector
Location: Scotland
Salary: £65,000-£70,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:30
We are representing a leading client in the highways sector who is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Operations Manager to oversee the specialised services they deliver to the sector.

Responsibilities:
·Coaching and mentoring team members to drive performance and maintain high standards of work.
·Manage the daily operations of the depot.
·Managing fleet, recruitment, and training across a large workforce.
·Leading investigations, disciplinaries, and ensuring positive outcomes.
·Creating efficiencies in scheduling and work organisation.
·Handling emergency roadworks response, participating in an out-of-hours rota to support clients and operatives.
Requirements:
·Proven experience managing people across multiple depots and departments, delivering tangible results.
·Expertise in creating efficiencies when scheduling and organising work for a large team.
·Inspirational leadership and motivational skills.
·Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
·Strong computer literacy.
·Experience with recruitment strategies.
·Full UK driving licence.
·Experience scheduling works in the logistics or highways industry.
·Prior experience with TM.
