Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Leasehold Manager to lead and manage its leasehold services, ensuring compliance and providing expert support on Right to Buy and Section 20 consultations. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape leasehold management within a dynamic team, working closely with leaseholders and ensuring adherence to all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
 
The role offers hybrid working and you will be required to be in the office 3 days a week.
 
The Role
·Oversee all aspects of leasehold management, including service charges, lease extensions, and enfranchisements, ensuring transparent and effective service for leaseholders.
·Manage the Right to Buy process, guiding applicants through each stage, from initial inquiries to successful sales, and ensuring all RTB policies and procedures are followed.
·Lead the Section 20 consultation process for major works and service charge adjustments, ensuring compliance with legal obligations, clear communication with leaseholders, and timely completion of consultations.
·Act as the primary point of contact for leaseholders, managing inquiries, resolving disputes, and providing clear and timely communication on all leasehold matters.
·Lead and develop a team of leasehold officers, providing guidance and support to deliver high-quality leasehold services.
·Monitor budgets related to leasehold services and provide regular reports on financial performance, Right to Buy progress, and Section 20 consultations.
 
The Ideal Candidate
·Proven background in leasehold management, with direct experience in Right to Buy and Section 20 consultation processes.
·Strong understanding of leasehold legislation, including the Housing Act, Leasehold Reform Act, and relevant statutory guidance for Right to Buy and Section 20.
·Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate complex information clearly and manage relationships with leaseholders and other stakeholders.
·Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and ensure compliance in all leasehold services.
·CIH qualifications are desirable, but relevant experience in leasehold management is essential.
