Are you an experienced Busway Safety Officer looking for a new challenge?

An opportunity has arisen for a Lead Busway Safety Officer to join a busy client in Cambridgeshire.
 
This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £30 - £32 per hour, negotiable for the right candidate.
 
Duties & Responsibilities:
·Lead and coordinate all safety activities, e.g. risk assessments,
Inspection of all aspects of the busway operation and its infrastructure, and ensuring that control measure are in place and followed.
·Leading the Busway Safety Officers and work with relevant stake holders in implementing control measures. Managing the Busway Safety Team comprising of 3 Busway Safety Officers and a Busway Safety Technical Support Officer. Ensure the Busway operation remains in full compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act
·Lead management of Busway incident reporting through the Health and Safety management system.. To ensure timely and system wide implementation of lessons learnt.
·Monitor reported defects and ensure timely resolution of safety issues by the Busway Safety Team.
