Job Title: ICA Project Engineer (Contract)
Location: Oswestry, UK

We are currently seeking an ICA (Instrumentation, Control, and Automation) Project Engineer for a 6-9 month contract position, based at a large Clean Water Treatment Facility in Oswestry. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a Tier 1 contractor for a leading water utility company, United Utilities.
Key Responsibilities:
·Lead and manage ICA aspects of the project, ensuring effective delivery of instrumentation, control, and automation systems.
·Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, mechanical, and electrical engineers, to ensure seamless project execution.
·Oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing of ICA equipment.
·Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to instrumentation and control systems.
·Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in water treatment facilities.
·Provide regular progress reports and updates to stakeholders.
Requirements:
·Proven experience as an ICA Project Engineer, preferably in the water sector or Process based industry (Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Oil & Gas etc.)
·Strong understanding of clean water treatment processes and ICA systems.
·Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively within tight deadlines.
·Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
·Knowledge of relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
·Previous experience working with United Utilities or on Tier 1 contractor projects is an advantage.
