EC&I Engineer - AWE Aldermaston
Contract - 12 Months (Hybrid)
Inside IR35 - £70-80 per hour
Are you an experienced EC&I Engineer with a passion for delivering high-standard control and instrumentation designs?
We are looking for an  to join our team, a design team at AWE Aldermaston. In this role, you will ensure that engineering designs meet safety, legislative, and performance standards across the lifecycle of critical infrastructure and facilities. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-hazard and highly regulated environments.
As part of the team, you'll work in a dynamic, highly-regulated environment, contributing to innovative projects that ensure the safety and compliance of critical infrastructure. You'll enjoy the flexibility to hybrid working (2-3 days on-site over a 9 day shift pattern).

Key Responsibilities:
·Deliver EC&I designs that meet safety and performance requirements across the full engineering lifecycle.
·Ensure designs comply with relevant legislation, standards, and requirements, maintaining design intent through collaboration with other disciplines.
·Uphold high standards of environment, safety, health, security, and quality throughout your work.
·Apply engineering best practices and escalate any concerns to the Principal Engineer when necessary.
What We're Looking For:
·ONC/OND or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering or a related discipline (HNC/HND is preferred).
·Strong knowledge of electrical engineering legislation and standards, particularly for highly regulated environments (nuclear/explosives preferred).
·Experience producing control and instrumentation designs as part of a multi-discipline team.
·Competence with standard office software and engineering tools and applications.
·Ability to work effectively within a highly regulated environment with a focus on compliance and safety.
