Job description

Civil Infrastructure Engineer
Our client is looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to join their team in Norwich. The consultancy specialises in civil and structural engineering. Projects range from small residential alterations to multi-million-pound developments across various sectors, including commercial, residential, industrial, leisure, educational, marine, environmental, and conservation. This is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to work on a wide variety of projects, alongside a friendly and supportive team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drainage and highway design and be proficient in industry-standard software tools.
Key Responsibilities:
·Develop and design drainage and highway systems for diverse projects.
·Utilize software such as MicroDrainage, Flow, Civil 3D, Site 3D, and AutoCAD to create detailed engineering plans.
·Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
·Conduct site assessments and provide technical guidance during project execution.
·Ensure designs comply with relevant regulations and standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
·Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
·A minimum of two years of professional experience in civil engineering, focusing on drainage and highway design.
·Proficiency in MicroDrainage, Flow, Civil 3D, Site 3D, and AutoCAD.
·Strong understanding of UK engineering standards and regulations.
·Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
·Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
