Job description

We have an urgent need for an experienced Civil 3D Technician to support our client on industrial, commercial and residential projects. Experience having worked on sections 278, 38, 104, and 106 would be useful. This remote position with ad-hoc office travel offers a fantastic opportunity for a skilled technician to contribute to exciting projects while enjoying a flexible work environment. This role falls outside IR35.
 
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in drainage, utility, road and earthworks leveraging their skills to support the design and implementation of various development schemes.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
·Collaborate with the engineering team to produce detailed designs and drawings using Civil 3D software for infrastructure projects.
·Execute comprehensive designs and calculations related to drainage systems, utility roads, and earthworks in compliance with project specifications and regulations.
·Assist in the preparation of technical reports, plans, and documentation required for project submissions and approvals.
·Conduct site assessments and surveys, providing valuable insights to support project planning and development.
·Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external parties to ensure project requirements are met within established timelines and budget constraints.
 
Qualifications and Skills:
 
·Proficiency in Civil 3D software with demonstrable experience in infrastructure development projects under Sections 278, 38, 104, and 106.
·Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in drainage design, utility, road design, and earthworks within the civil engineering field.
·Strong understanding of relevant regulations, standards, and procedures governing infrastructure development projects.
·Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
·Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing tasks independently while adhering to project deadlines.
