My client is recruiting for a Building Surveyor to join their Manchester office. They are a niche project management, cost consulting and building surveying practice who are looking to expand.
The candidate needs to have a drive to succeed and an ability to appeal to a varied client base. You will need to be able to demonstrate a successful track record in both professional and project-based work. You will assist senior members of staff, but also be expected to work on your own initiative to ensure the delivery of projects on time, to budget and of high quality.

The successful candidate will be part of a small team of building surveyors covering a vary of projects.
 
Responsibilities:
 
·Active involvement in the procurement, design and delivery of new build and refurbishment projects including mixed use, industrial, residential and commercial schemes
·Advising clients on programme, cost and procurement implications of projects for both public and private sector clients 
·Used to client facing meetings in which professional advice is provided
·Experience of procuring and managing multi-disciplinary consultant teams
·Good understanding of the project delivery process from inception to completion
·Good working understanding of building technology, compliance/Building Regulations and defect
 
 
Requirements:
 
·BSc Hons Building Surveying (At least 2 years experience)
·A Chartered Member of the RICS, or CIOB, or CIAT and RIBA or similar qualification.
·Full UK License
