Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Salary £30,000-35,000 (+ extras)
 
Are you a quantity surveyor with 2-3 years' experience looking for your next role?
My client is looking for a candidate in the south Wales area to work on multi million pound road improvement scheme.
 
(If you are not based in the area my client is willing to provide cover for the cost of staying away)
 
The role-
·Produce, submit, and agree monthly applications, to the Client, in accordance with the form of contract.
·Liaise with operational and engineering staff to ensure site records are kept to the standard required.
·Produce Subcontract documentation including negotiation of terms.
·Produce detailed monthly reports and Cost Value Reconciliation's (CVR) as required by the business unit or project.
·Produce and maintain a detailed Plan of costs, tracking and forecasting expenditure, including detailed schedules of Subcontractors liabilities.
·Interpret and critically evaluate expenditure reports produced by internal cost systems.
·Be available to assist estimating and bid teams with contractual expertise
·Experience in Roadworks and highways is desirable.
