Ilya focuses on contract recruitment within the highways, transport and infrastructure sectors and heads up our public sector South East team. He has a proven track record in engineering recruitment and in depth market expertise developed from assisting highway authorities across the south of UK.
An IRP finalist in 2019 for the “Temporary Consultant of the Year” award, Ilya is known for his passionate, thorough approach to recruitment and is currently responsible for business development, candidate sourcing and internal team management at Carrington West. Having achieved a number of internal back-to-back promotions in 4 years, Ilya is our only Principal Consultant within the business which allows him to concentrate on candidate and client needs whilst playing a crucial role within the wider department.
Ilya began his career in recruitment with a boutique technical recruiter after graduating from the University of Portsmouth with a Master’s degree in Geographic Information Systems and is an MREC CertRP. In his spare time he enjoys European travel, looking after his 4 dogs and countryside walks around the South Downs.
