Senior Civil Engineer
 
My client is an award-winning structural and civil engineering practice with a reputation for intelligent design and innovative, practical solutions. Based in central London, the practice now has over 170 people. They are currently work on exciting and innovative projects throughout the UK for many of the leading developers and architects.

About the role:
 
They are looking for a technically strong, creative and passionate civil engineer with experience in managing others to join the team.   Working within a supportive and welcoming team, the role will require you to produce efficient, high-quality technical designs for both new build and refurbishment projects in a wide range of sectors. You will need to be enthusiastic, hard-working and looking to take on responsibility.
 
The ideal candidate:
·A good level of previous experience,
·Chartered, or near Chartered with ICE
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
·Experience of developing SuDS strategies for major developments;
·Detailed design of below ground drainage networks, including SuDS elements, for buildings, highway and public realm;
·Highway, pavement design and ground modelling experience is beneficial but not essential;
·Experience of design for flood mitigation including developing sites in Flood Zone 3 is beneficial but not essential;
·Knowledge of design software such as WinDes (Microdrainage), Civil 3D, and the use of BIM;
·Experience of managing a small team;
