Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Southampton/Testwood
Salary: Up to £52,000 per annum plus benefits package

Join a market-leading contractor specialising in water frameworks across the UK as a Quantity Surveyor at the Testwood WTW site. With the flexibility of hybrid working, you will play a pivotal role in the Commercial team, managing key accounts on a major project and reporting directly to the Senior Quantity Surveyor.

Key Responsibilities:
·Applications & Valuations: Handle applications, valuations, and cost-value reconciliations.
·Cost Control & Forecasting: Oversee cost control, forecasting, and prepare information for monthly reports, including value, cost, profit/loss, and cash flow.
·Supply Chain Management: Manage and optimize the supply chain.
·Risk & Value Management: Assist in risk and value management to enhance solutions and regularly review with the project team.
·Contract Management: Administer contracts, manage budgetary control methods, and use relevant software applications.
·Subcontractor Coordination: Support the preparation of subcontract enquiries, negotiate, and establish contracts.
·Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all notifications and documents are up-to-date and safety risk situations are reported to site management.
·Liaison: Maintain ongoing communication with site teams, subcontractors, and client representatives.
·Contractual Advice: Provide contractual advice to the site team as needed.

About You:

Essential:
·Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
·ARICS qualified or actively pursuing APC.
·Proven experience working with a main contractor.

Desirable:
·Experience in Water (Non-Infrastructure) projects.
·Knowledge of NEC contracts.
·Familiarity with CEMAR software.
