We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join a dynamic team to work on civil engineering projects at the Sellafield nuclear site.
This Assignment is paying OUTSIDE IR35 from £350 per day
The right candidate will also be able to claim a staying away allowance if travelling from outside the local area for the assignment.
Responsibilities:
·Execute site engineering activities ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
·Undertake setting out and surveying duties accurately and efficiently.
·Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project progress.
·Oversee construction activities, ensuring quality and adherence to project time lines.
·Implement and monitor temporary works design schemes.
·Produce and manage all given site documentation.
·Supervise and mentor junior engineers, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
 
Requirements:
·Proven experience as a Site Engineer, ideally on similar projects.
·Proficient in setting out
·Strong knowledge of construction methods, specifications, and regulations.
·Excellent organizational and communication skills.
·Ability to resolve technical issues and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
·Experience in managing site setting-out teams and subcontractors.
·Familiarity with health and safety standards in construction.
Qualifications:
·Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
·CSCS card and SMSTS qualification.
·Full EU Driving Licence.
·P4 Sellafield Pass (or have previously held this pass)
