Are you an environmental noise specialist from a consultancy background?
Have you previously orchestrated environmental noise assessments on infrastructure projects?
Salary: £45,137 to £56,465
Location: London or Birmingham
Hybid: 3 days in office, 2 days from home per week
This is an exciting opportunity to work client-side on a major infrastructure project as part of its Noise and Vibration team. Due to the nature of this opportunity, only candidates from an infrastructure background can be considered.
Only candidates from a consultancy background can be considered for this position, and candidates from a rail background are greatly preferred. However, candidates with acoustics/noise and vibration experience from another infrastructure industry such as Highways or Energy may also be considered.
This position can be based in London or Birmingham. A hybrid working model is in place, allowing for the successful candidate to work from home up to 2 days a week.
This position offers a salary range of £45,137 to £56,465.
Responsibilities:
- Interacting with key stakeholders
- Design assurance and potential control of unplanned noise.
- Orchestrating workshops with various contractors, ensuring technical guidance is written if there is ambiguity or deviation in standards
- Environmental Impact Assessments and controlling noise within a specified environment
Essential:
- Previous consultancy experience
- Evidence of environmental impact assessments within infrastructure
- Evidence of successfully having controlled noise in an environment
- Previous stakeholder engagement experience
Preferred:
- Rail experience
- Acoustic Engineering Degree or equivalent
- Member of Institute of Acoustics
