Role: Night Site Technician within Water
Location: Hampshire
Salary: £27,000 to £31,000 per annum depending on experience
Working week: 40 hours + 8 hours OT
Employment: 6 month contact moving into a permanent position
Essential criteria: Full UK manual drivers license + ability to work nights and days
 
My client is a market leader in the Water sector and are attached to the Southern Water framework.  They carry out asset inspection attached to clean water mains distribution pipelines.
 
This role offers full training but some Water sector experience is required and must have experience working Nights.  
 
In this role you will be working with an experienced engineer and you will be provided with on the job training along with formal industry related qualifications as part on the induction process.
 
Day to day tasks are focused around carrying out asset checks on clean water distribution pipelines.  For example isolating valves in the pipeline and checking they are functioning properly.  Flushing pipeline and pressure testing. Note this is a site based role but you will also be required to have an office presence where you gather information eg locations of your next jobs and identify tests that are required.
 
Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft office, word and excel
 
Please note you need to be based with in Hampshire and be able drive to be considered for this position. In addition to this you will need to hold a full UK drivers license with no more than 6 points.
 
The role is based working 40 hours a week Monday to Thursday, will have friday as a rest day due to   night and day shifts
 
This role offers a salary of £27,000 to £31,000 depending on experience, immediate start and interview is available for the right candidate.
