Exclusive Opportunity: Electrical Commissioning Engineer - Clean Water
Location: East side of London (Thames Water)
Rate: Up To £450 per day (Outside IR35/LTD Company)
 Duration: 6 months + rolling contract (Hybrid)

Are you an ambitious Commissioning Engineer ready to elevate your career in the booming water/wastewater sector? We are representing a leading company looking to strengthen their construction team with a Commissioning Engineer based in the East Thames Region.
Key Responsibilities:
·Manage all commissioning activities, ensuring work is safely completed in accordance with company procedures and specifications.
·Review and monitor MEICA-related project risks.
·Attend commissioning system inductions and toolbox talks.
·Collate and complete testing and inspection records (ITR/ITP).
·Liaise with the design team to incorporate plant commissioning requirements at the design stage.
·Review design deliverables, including FDS, equipment/instrument lists, P&IDs, control philosophy, and telemetry requirements.
·Develop and review compliance and commissioning plans aligned with design intent.
·Oversee and sign off on FAT and SAT, and process witness tests.
·Assist in developing the initial commissioning program.
·Attend progress and commissioning meetings.
·Compile commissioning documentation and deliverables.
·Provide input into commissioning strategy reviews and documentation.
·Liaise with sub-contractors regarding commissioning deliverables and interfaces.
·Assist training coordinators in compiling training deliverables and participate in training sessions.
·Assist O&M coordinators in compiling and reviewing O&M manuals.
·Distribute commissioning logs/daily diaries and other information from engineers.
·Assist in preparing takeover reports.
·Collaborate with the complete scheme delivery team.
About You:
·Proven electrical commissioning experience.
·Extensive site experience in water and/or water recycling operations.
·Practical knowledge of water and/or water recycling processes.
·A valid clean UK driving license.
·Water hygiene card (blue water card).
·CSCS card.
·Ability to work effectively as part of a project team.
