Associate Director - Private Planning Consultancy
Location: Bristol (Hybrid Working)
Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum

Their team is dedicated to shaping sustainable and thriving communities and is now seeking an experienced Associate Director to join us in this mission.
 
As an Associate Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing planning projects, contributing to our strategic growth, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to clients. You will be a key player in their dynamic team, bringing your expertise in town planning, policy development, and appeals to drive successful outcomes.
 
Key Responsibilities:
·Lead and manage a variety of planning projects from inception to completion.
·Provide expert advice and guidance on planning policy and appeals.
·Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities.
·Prepare and present high-quality planning applications and reports.
·Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
·Contribute to the strategic development and growth of the consultancy.
 
Requirements:
·Chartered Town Planner (MRTPI or equivalent) with a strong policy background.
·Proven experience in handling planning appeals and delivering successful outcomes.
·Excellent understanding of UK planning legislation and policy.
·Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
·Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
·Self-motivated and proactive, with a commitment to continuous professional development.
