A top engineering company in the UK is looking for a Senior Process Mechanical Engineer to join the team on a very exciting project at one of the UK nuclear sites. This is a great opportunity to work with some of the best team in the industry and work on one of the best projects in the UK.  

• Job Title - Senior Process Mechanical Design Engineer
• Location - North West (Hybrid)
• Contract Length - 6 Months
• Pay Rates - Up To £65 hour

This role will be perfect for a candidate who is coming from the UK Nuclear industry and has vast knowledge in the sector who is confident working on FEED, feasibility and optioneering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Have knowledge and the ability to work within the safety rules for all design and advance plant designs.
• You will be responsible for P&M design engineering aspects and evaluation of feasibility and optioneering studies
• Delivery of Conceptual Design and Design Specifications with focus on P&M expertise area.
• The proven ability to deliver basic design packages concerning core plant technology
• Proven track record of design expertise
• Establish, control, and maintain Group Reference Design and safety case standards and requirements
• The ability to simulate and model complex stationary and dynamic integrated process systems
• A Process and Mechanical background in the nuclear process industry
• Capability to analyse complex data and solve improvements

Skills/Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in physics, Process Technology, Nuclear or Mechanical Engineering.
• track record in successful design delivery involving conceptual designs and FEED of complex process facilities.
• Senior plant design experience
