I am currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity to make up a new estimating team to support with a large a project for a Tier 1 contractor on behalf of South Wet Water.
 
The role is completely remote with just 1-2 site and/or office visits throughout the contract duration. the role may well run on longer to support other projects and may urn into a mechanical engineering role for the construction phase if local enough.
 
My client have recently won the contract for the construction of a brand new Water Treatment Works on behalf of South West Water. The value of the project is £75 Million and they need a team of estimators from the key competencies to price for the project over the next 4 months.
 
you must be able to work autonomously and have experience managing the supply chain ensuring each tender has a minimum of 3 bids, sticking to timescales.
 
You will be expected to visit the site once in Bournemouth to get a real understanding of the site foundation, location, gaps/access etc and potentially one office meeting. The rest of the Work will be 100% remote.
 
After the 4 months it is likely there will be other projects to estimate on or possible the potential for this to turn into a project engineering role.
 
To be considered you MUST have UK Water sector experience due to the complexities and the requirement to hit the ground running.
